mirror & for these vehicles, it's a very simple
PLUG & PLAY
upgrade!!
***Not for vehicles with a forward-facing auto-high beam, lane departure, or other type of camera mounted on the mirror bracket or for vehicles that have "COMPASS" or "RVD/COMPASS" on the back of the mirror housing.***

As part of the installation process, you will need to remove the indexing tabs that are on the side of your vehicle's existing mirror connector. To do this, use a sharp knife & scrape the tabs, or use a small grinding tool to remove the tabs, until flush with the connector body. When done, your mirror connector should look like this:
This mirror is compatible with the following vehicles equipped with the factory auto dim-only mirror, Ford part number
BU5A-17E678-LA, FU5A-17E678-TA, FU5A-17E678-TB, FU5A-17E678-TC, FU5A-17E678-TD OR FU5A-17E678-VA and "AUTODIM" stamped into the plastic
