This is a nice used Gentex semi-frameless auto dimming rear view mirror with compass display & Homelink® Version 5 that will fit most 2000 thru 2023 Subaru vehicles and the 2024 Subaru Forester that are pre-wired from the factory for an auto dimming mirror & for these vehicles, it's a very simple plug & play upgrade!! This will also fit vehicles made by Subaru for Saab, those being the 2013-2016 Scion FR-S and 2005-2006 SAAB 9-2x.
You'll need to check your vehicle to determine which connector is in place above the overhead console. Almost all 2000-2013 pre-wired vehicles will have a white 3 pin connector tucked away above the overhead console. 2014 and newer pre-wired vehicles may have this same connector, or they may have a white 5 pin connector. Also, some 2014 and newer vehicles may not have any mirror wiring in place. Please refer to the Installation Notes tab for more information on the connectors to look for in your vehicle.
In addition, some vehicles will require a camlock-to-wedge mount adapter in order to install the mirror in your vehicle. Please refer to the Installation Notes for more information.
IMPORTANT: On Subaru vehicles, because of how they are wired, Homelink® will only operate when the ignition is on.
