From Zorg NA, this is a protective plug/cover for the 30 pin chassis harness connector that is present on 2019 new body style & 2020-2024 Silverado/Sierra pickups. It's for use in situations where your truck's factory tailgate needs to be removed, such as when using slide-in campers or salt spreaders, or when using a 5th wheel hitch, or when the factory truck bed was removed & replaced with an aftermarket truck bed or utility body and now you are left with an unused, unprotected connector. Over time, when exposed to moisture, road salt, dirt, etc., the terminals in the connector will corrode & become unusable. This protective plug/cover will shield the 30 pin chassis harness connector on your truck from the elements!
