New rear view mirror plug and play wiring adapter that will fit a variety of Subaru models from 2013 back to the early 2000's (as well as some Saab & Scion models too!) that have the 3 pin connector tucked away above the overhead console/light fixture/sunglasses holder. Installing the harness takes but a few minutes. Please note that if your mirror has a cable coming out of the back, then a shorter harness is recommended. And if your mirror has the connector located in the back of the mirror housing, then a longer harness is recommended. If you purchase a mirror from us, you do not need to purchase this harness.
There are multiple styles available that fit most auto dimming mirrors - you will need to select from the following:
5 pin - for use on Gentex GNTX-536 & GNTX-1124 mirrors or on GNTX-1427 mirrors.
7 pin - for use on Gentex GNTX-177, GNTX-177 and GNTX-455 autodim or compass autodim mirrors, or MagnaDonnelly/CIPA autodim or compass autodim mirrors with the flat 7 pin plug on back (will not work on Gentex 7 pin mirrors with the narrow 7 pin connector found on some mirrors made for Honda/Acura). Not for use on mirrors with temperature display.
10 pin - for use on Gentex GNTX-313 & GNTX-453, OBIHL3, OBI2HL4, MOBHL4, and PZLHL4 autodim Homelink or compass autodim Homelink mirrors that have the 10 pin connector in the back of the mirror housing. Not for use on mirrors with temperature display.
10 pin - for use on Gentex GNTX-536 & GNTX-1124, GENK8A, GENK80A, GENK85A, ADVGENFL8EXP, ADVGENFL80EXP, and ADVGENFL85EXP autodim, autodim Homelink or compass autodim Homelink mirrors with a 10 pin connector attached to the mirror bracket or attached to a cable coming out of the back of the mirror. For these we will need to see the pinout configuration of the connector as there are two variations.
12 pin - for use on Gentex GNTX-651 autodim or compass autodim mirrors, GNTX-687 autodim Homelink or compass autodim Homelink mirrors, and on select Gentex GNTX-453 autodim compass autodim Homelink mirrors that have the 12 pin connector located in the mirror housing (be careful...most GNTX-453 mirrors use a 10 pin style of connector!).
16 pin - for use on Gentex GNTX-261 and GNTX-511 autodim and compass-autodim mirrors. Not for mirrors with temperature display.
Please note...these harnesses WILL NOT work on any Ford mirrors with 10, 12, or 16 pin plugs on the back...they will only work on the mirrors listed above.
