Optionally, you can add your choice of a long or short adjustable wire cover. The long cover adjusts from 4-3/8" minimum to 7-1/4" maximum with a channel that measures 3/8" x 3/8". The short cover adjusts from 2-1/2" minimum to 4" maximum with a channel that measures 3/16" x 3/8".
IMPORTANT: some newer vehicles may also need a spacer to bring the mirror a little further out from the windshield, as some models now have a black plastic cover that may slightly interfere with the mirror - this also depends on multiple other factors, such as height of the driver, how far the driver sits from the mirror, and so on, so the spacer may not be needed for all situations. If one is needed, be sure to select the option when adding the mirror to your cart.
Optional camlock-to-wedge mount adapter kit available too. If your vehicle currently has a camlock style of mount & you wish to install a standard wedge style of mount, you'll need this adapter. These types of mounts are commonly found in SOME (but not all) Subaru & older Honda, Saab, Scion, and Toyota vehicles made for the US market.
