This is a BRAND NEW Advent/Gentex FRAMELESS auto dimming rear view mirror with Homelink® Version 5 & green compass display that will fit the 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma's that are equipped with the factory auto dim mirror & for these vehicles, it's a very simple PLUG & PLAY upgrade!!
For vehicles that have the manual dimming mirror and do not have the factory mirror wiring in place, you'll need the universal kit that we have listed here (plug & play is not an option for these models).
This mirror is right around 10" wide, which is slightly smaller in size than a standard 10-1/2" mirror, as there is no black plastic frame surrounding the mirror frame.

Long neck stem - will even work on newer vehicles that have a black plastic shroud surrounding the mirror stem - no spacer needed!
Homelink® buttons are backlit in white, making them easy to locate in the dark, but not bright enough to be annoying.
IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING 2020 thru 2023 MODELS: The vast majority of 2020-2023 Tacoma trucks will not have constant power on the wire in the bottom row of 12 pin factory mirror connector, even though the wire is there! Refer to the listing pictures for reference (wire colors may not be the same). Before purchasing this mirror, be sure to check your truck to see if has constant power between the wire in the bottom row and the fourth wire from the left in the upper row. If it does not, we will send you a mirror wired so that the Homelink® buttons are operable only with the ignition on. Be sure to select the appropriate option when putting the mirror in your cart.
Optionally, you can add your choice of a long or short adjustable wire cover. The long cover adjusts from 4-3/8" minimum to 7-1/4" maximum with a channel that measures 3/8" x 3/8". The short cover adjusts from 2-1/2" minimum to 4" maximum with a channel that measures 3/16" x 3/8".
