This is a BRAND NEW Advent/Gentex FRAMELESS auto dimming rear view mirror with Homelink® Version 5 & green compass display that will fit the 2012-2015 Toyota Tacoma's that are either equipped with the factory auto dim mirror OR have the factory 14 pin mirror wiring tucked away above the overhead console & for these vehicles, it's a very simple PLUG & PLAY upgrade!!
Please note...NOT ALL TACOMA'S WILL HAVE THE FACTORY MIRROR WIRING IN PLACE, OR IN SOME CASES, THE FACTORY MIRROR WIRING IS THERE, BUT THE CONSTANT HOT WIRE IS MISSING - SEE THE INSTALLATION NOTES TAB SO YOU CAN CHECK YOUR TRUCK'S MIRROR CONNECTOR FOR THE CONSTANT HOT WIRE.
For vehicles that have the manual dimming mirror and do not have the factory mirror wiring in place, you'll need the universal kit that we have listed here (plug & play is not an option for these models).
This mirror is right around 10" wide, which is slightly smaller in size than a standard 10-1/2" mirror, as there is no black plastic frame surrounding the mirror frame.

Homelink® buttons are backlit in white, making them easy to locate in the dark, but not bright enough to be annoying.
Optionally, you can add your choice of a long or short adjustable wire cover. The long cover adjusts from 4-3/8" minimum to 7-1/4" maximum with a channel that measures 3/8" x 3/8". The short cover adjusts from 2-1/2" minimum to 4" maximum with a channel that measures 3/16" x 3/8".
