Has the factory backup camera rear view mirror in your 2006-2009 Hummer H2 and 2007-2010 Hummer H3 / H3T seen better days? If you've noticed the glass developing streaks & splotches or doing all sorts of other weird things, this is a very common occurrence. And oftentimes, the compass/temperature display may have gone partially or completely dim, too. Good news - we can fix your mirror!
As part of the repair service, the original glass will be removed & replaced with a nice unit from a donor mirror. We will also repair the necessary components on the mirror's circuit board to bring the compass temperature display back to the proper brightness, just like it was when it was new. When we are done refurbishing your mirror, it will no longer have the small "window" in the glass for the compass temperature display, but instead it will now have a "floating" display, so when the mirror is off, you can barely see the display, but when on, the compass heading & temperature display will appear to float behind the glass. Check out the listing pictures to see what your mirror will look like once we are done with the repairs - you will be pleasantly surprised with the transformation! And all of this comes with a 1 year warranty too!
An additional option is available, either if your backup camera display screen has become dim or developed some burnt out pixels, or if your mirror originally had the built-in guidelines and you prefer to not have guidelines, we can also replace the LCD screen for you.
This repair service is available only for the factory Hummer mirrors that have the backup camera display in the mirror glass. Sorry but we are not able to repair the 1st generation backup camera mirrors that have the motorized slide-out screens.
Remember, this is a REPAIR SERVICE (you are not purchasing a mirror) - after you place your order & remit payment, we will contact you with instructions on where you will send your vehicle's mirror for the repairs to be performed. Our turnaround on repairs is generally 2-4 business days (this depends on our shop load; we will inform you in advance if it will be longer than this), so when we are done, we will then ship your mirror back to you via insured USPS Priority Mail.
Please note that there are some rare instances where we just are not able to repair the mirror, so in this case, we do not charge for the attempted repair; all you would be responsible for would be the shipping charges to return the mirror back to you.
If you have any questions or need additional information before placing an order, please send us a message on the CONTACT US page on our website. Thank you & have a blessed day!
