This is a super nice used Gentex auto dimming rear view mirror with Homelink® Version 5 that will fit the 2015-2025 Chevrolet Colorado & GMC Canyon trucks equipped with the factory auto dim-only or auto dim OnStar® mirror with 10 pin connector located on the the top or bottom of the mirror bracket & for these vehicles, it's a very simple PLUG & PLAY upgrade!!
This kit is not for vehicles equipped with plain mirrors or with mirrors with any type of forward facing camera or other safety device attached to the vehicle mirror bracket, nor for vehicles with the full display mirror option (RPO code DRZ). Please review the compatibility tab for more information on your vehicle before purchasing this kit. If your vehicle currently has the factory auto dim OnStar® mirror and you do not use this feature, you can replace your mirror without causing any issues with your vehicle or the OnStar® system.
What's the difference between Homelink® Versions 4 and 5? Both versions are compatible with all openers, current & prior. Version 5 adds the garage door up/down indicators, a feature which will only work if you have a newer opener that has the ability to communicate this information to the mirror.
This mirror is right around 10" wide, which is slightly smaller in size than a standard 10-1/2" mirror, as this mirror has a very thin plastic frame surrounding the mirror glass. Please note that on vehicles that have a black plastic cover surrounding the mirror stem, some trimming of the opening in this cover may be required when installing this mirror.

- Long or short adjustable wire cover. The long cover adjusts from 4-3/8" minimum to 7-1/4" maximum with a channel that measures 3/8" x 3/8". The short cover adjusts from 2-1/2" minimum to 4" maximum with a channel that measures 3/16" x 3/8".
