New Rostra #250-8820 auto dimming rear view mirror with 4.3" camera display with DUAL CAMERA INPUTS & OnStar® controls. This kit will work on select 2010-2018 GM cars, trucks & SUV's currently equipped with either a manual-dimming or auto-dimming OnStar® rear view mirror. This mirror will allow you to easily add a backup camera AND and auxiliary camera while retaining the auto dim and OnStar® features of your current mirror! If your vehicle currently has backup camera display in the factory radio, you can use this mirror to add another backup camera, such as for a trailer, as well as an auxiliary camera. This will not work in vehicles that have the factory backup camera display in the rear view mirror.
This mirror plugs into the factory 10 pin connector on your vehicle, and there is a separate harness on the mirror for the 12 volt accessory, reverse trigger and auxiliary camera trigger wires, as well as two RCA cables for the camera inputs. ***IMPORTANT: On cars that were originally equipped with the auto-dimming OnStar® mirror, you will still have to separately hook up the ignition, reverse & ground wires even though these are presently in place in the factory mirror harness, but they are not in place in the 10 pin connector on the mirror itself. On vehicles that have only 5 wires in the existing mirror connector, you will need to determine where to make these connections***
